Why did you choose Cornell and AAP?
Nestled in the secluded mountains, Cornell gives students an ideal learning environment. At the same time, the people I admire most have studied here. They were China's pioneers of democracy and also led the scientific transformation of China. AAP is a place where science and art merge, and I can learn the essence of Western culture — and the fusion of this culture with contemporary technology. It will be inspiring not only for my work but for all human society.
What are your extracurricular interests and how have you incorporated them into your college life?
I like movies, some thriller, some romantic. I am also a fan of the Houston Rockets, AC Milan, Italian football, and the Chicago Blackhawks.
What do you hope to accomplish during your time at AAP and after graduation?
I hope I can graduate with honors and participate in a research thesis. To accomplish this, I hope to start my research career in my undergraduate studies so that it will provide a solid basis for my future.
