Why did you choose Cornell and AAP?
I love Cornell AAP's design program and have seen some first-year work involving the structure of rocks and it seemed very interesting to me. I also loved the campus when I visited and also loved the Sibley Dome building.
What are your extracurricular interests and how have you incorporated them into your college life?
I am currently working for Tesoro Architects, where I work on Revit renderings, survey mapping, web design, and awards submissions. I love my job and the environment Mr. Tesoro created, as I always feel like I'm learning during every project I take. I worked at Saint Joseph's Soup Kitchen every Saturday and hope to continue doing so when it is safe outside. I am very passionate about film making and am thinking of looking into production design.
What do you hope to accomplish during your time at AAP and after graduation?
I want to learn more about sustainable design. I am extremely interested in materiality and wish to study it more thoroughly in college as my favorite architect is the master of materials, Carlo Scarpa.
